A family and an architect walk into a bar…
It wasn’t actually a bar. It was the L.A. Eyeworks showroom in West Hollywood.
And when my family walked in — all five of us needing new frames — I thought: “Can we move in here? I’ll happily sell glasses for a living if we can move in here.”
We wondered: “Who’s the David Bowie-level genius that designed this place? And would they deem to talk to us — mere mortals — about our modest home renovation?
That architect was Neil Denari. And his answer was “yes.”
